In continuation to the office order No. 45/Dev of dated 27/12/2013 ,the revised schedule  for summer and winter vacations in all the Govt. Polytechnics / Govt. Polytechnic Education Societies shall be applicable w.e.f.           Academic Session 2013-14 onwards –

Summer Vacation         :         1st June to 30th June

Winter Vacation           :         25th December to 08th January

An employee shall be considered to have availed himself / herself of a vacation, or a portion of a vacation, unless he / she has been required, by general or special order of a higher authority, to for go such vacation, or portion of a vacation.

Provided that if he / she has been prevented by such as an order from enjoying more than 15 days of the vacation, he / she shall be considered to have availed himself / herself of no portion of the vacation.
